Hollyhocks for Mom

Using one of my older jumbo SU wheels for this one. Took me a couple of tries to get a good clean and straight image that was not over stamped. I think that is why I am going to take all the rubber off the wheels and put on EZ Mount. Then use on an acrylic block. Just as soon as I have a bit of spare time....maybe when my son is in the hospital in November and I am just sitting there for hours on end.

Anyway.....stamped and cut out the butterflies from Tagger's Dozen and popped them up on teeny tiny bits of dimensionals. Now that was a challenge. I wanted to use some of the Pomegranate CS and ribbon so, that was my color scheme. Used Prismas for the flowers and sponged the blue bg and used chalks for highlighting. My MIL loved the card!

Thanks for looking and happy Crafting!!
Cindy

  5. I love this image. My mom used to plant hollyhocks in our yard every year. Gosh, I haven't thought about that in decades. I like your popped up butterflies. Great card.
